I am for sure adding you in my book. :) have my first chapter up I love it.
You really did an awesome research quest Fuzzy :) Good job!
Heck no Dan is a smart fella I know steem and Steemit are the tip of the iceberg! No stopping this platform his blockchains are Amazing and can't wait for more inovative ways Dan brings to the table. Bitshares will for sure be getting more traction. I am glad I did fall for this gold mine!!! The information is really going to be good and I am glad I found it. I am sill studying the ins and outs. The decentralized exchange is by far one of my favorites.
man i am not going to lie...you should join our hangouts and ask as many questions about bitshares as you can.
It literally has been so underrated for so long (and often misrepresented by CryptoMedia in general) that it actually took STEEM to bring people to it--indirectly I might add (many people in crypto don't even know what bitshares is). But just think...#bitshares has the following:
So let me ask you..do you think steem will be the last blockchain mr larimer builds? Do you think BTS is going to get more volume when steem and things like #peerplays begin getting traded? Someday you will be able to trade an oz of crypto gold (backed by 200% collateral) for your favorite cryptocurrency...
Yeh man you kind of ran into a goldmine of information on here. If you like digging through this stuff you will foam at the mouth. :D
Here is a video to whet your lips:
Did you know Lisk is built on BitShares 1.0 tech? Not saying that is a terrible thing of course...because it is written in a different language (javascript) that is more likely to have a large number of developers than C++. However, C++ coders are coding at a lower level closer to the machine language and so can be faster and more efficient.
Lisk's tech is ok, but I know little else about them. I will however, say that BitShares 2.0 (based on the Graphene toolkit)...is a completely different story. It is so absolutely amazing its potential and can scale to industrial transaction volumes (as steem has proven).
So is steem also built on bitshares platform? Yea JavaScript is easer for us humans to understand took some classes in Fullsail , but yea machine code C++ is much faster and more efficent, Now you got me researching all this great code, good thing its Saturday and my insomnia is kicking in. By tomorrow morning I will be able to comment more technical comments knowing the fact I researched into it. Damn this is going to be a great end of the year for crypto.
