I Was Thinking Of Using BidBots Now

Content creators are hit hard following this hardfork and the 40% reward cut is not to take lightly particularly from little stake holders which are so helpless now because they couldn't even get an upvote on their comments unless the upvoter of the comment is a large stake holder.

Small dolphins can't afford to upvote comments lest they will waste their voting power because the author and the comment maker will not benefit from the interaction. You can see that when you upvote the comments and if says 1 cent It will not get paid.

So I think I must use bidbots simply because it is an option to earn a little and to compensate for the loss that we had. Well why I can't just curate more?

Curation is limited, you can only curate ten 100% voting power a day and if you have a small stake it will not be enough to compensate with the loss from the EIP so it is just a better option to use Bidbots.

I was not using bidbots before because many frowns on that issue but of course I will just be forced to use them now because of the weird economic situation that we are in now where just a few people drives the economy in the detriment of many.

You would say bidbots will not be profitable but of course they will adjust so that they will be still profitable unless you abuse the use of them and then you will risk the flags unless you are a very big stake holder which may not use bid bots but are abusing and still can be an untouchable entity in the steem community.

So I am still thinking about using bidbots now. I may or may not use them unless if I would realize that they are not profitable anymore or I may just run a contest or something just for me to be able to survive in this ever-changing game in the steem ecosystem.

The problem with using bidbots now is that a number of steemians will start downvoting content that uses bidbots that they deem are not worthy, seeing that everyone gets free downvotes now, could end up worse.

They are also significantly less profitable now...

I don't support them, follow people that use them, or upvote stuff that is bid on by them. I then go to https://steemwhales.com/clean-trending/ and downvote most stuff where the majority of the vote is bots. That's just a personal policy.

That being said, with the style of most of your blog, a photo with short updates: If people see that bid to top of trending, they will vote it back down. For some of your blogs it might be okay. You are probably considering a time to engage with them when their optics is at their absolute worst.

You said it all, I too use the list of death link (above). Bots are a terrible idea @cryptopie, keep well away from them.

How are bid bots profitable now? It looks to me like you won’t make any money.
