I’ll give Mcafee a pass on this, if you read his post he was asking people if binance was hacked and showed an image someone sent him. His responses to the first few tweets made clear he thought the image was probably bogus but wanted to be get others opinions. One thing I pointed out was in previous hacks, people were able to see that large amounts of crypto had been moved out before anything was announced such as the hack on NiceHash. Binance pretty early on posted their wallet addresses as proof they were not hacked, so that was a good move by them, although the amount of to,e they went down made a lot of people nervous.
