John Mcafee issues an official apology to Binance. If you haven't heard what happened let me fill you in. John Mcafee was going off on twitter (like always) that Binance may be down due to a hack. Binance assured their customers that they were down due to an upgrade an that it was not due to a hack. To reassure their users even more they provided a screenshot of their wallet address to show that all funds were safe. This is a bold move that Binance did not have to do. This did not seem like enough proof for Mcafee and he continued his twitter rant. The website came back online after the upgrade was completed and users were able to trade.
This happened around the same time that Bitgrail was hacked for $170 million. https://www.engadget.com/2018/02/10/bitgrail-170-million-unauthorized-transactions/
Today, John Mcafee tweeted that he sends a apology to Binance and the CEO Changpeng Zhao for his behavior.
