RE: Bitcoin Futures to be Added to NASDAQ - BTC / STEEM Analysis 02/23/2018

Hey there. I had a quick question on WYV if you had a moment? I put a little on a while ago on coinexchange and logged in for the first time in a while and still have my coins, however the value is 0$. Is it a dead coin or is it something with coinexchange? Thanks for the help. Cheers

Hey @dabears1987 ... WYV did a transition with their network. Also, coinexchange delisted them.

On coinmarketcap.com they are not listed as trading anymore, but I believe it still might be tradable on https://etherdelta.com/

So what happened is they closed out their individual blockchain, took a snapshot at block 315000 and have enabled people to redeem the new ERC20 Wyvern tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. So they have become an Ethereum token. I still need to go through the process myself to get my ERC20 tokens.

Here is the website that walks you through it: https://redeem.projectwyvern.com/

It's negative that they got delisted, but on the other hand, their new website is amazing and they have a very decent developer doing updates. Last I checked, (maybe a month ago) the project seemed still active and they were pressing forward, but you'd want to check their discord chat to make sure.

To redeem, I think you need the private key that coinexchange has. They might give it out to you somehow if you make an inquiry. I had my WYV in a wallet so I got the private key to do this.

Thanks for your help. I am under the impression I am SOL after reading there "coin removal" rules. Its hard to get them to answer me.

Removals

All coin removals from CoinExchange.io will be advertised in the News section of the website and on Twitter. It is the responsibility of the user to check regularly what coins are set to be delisted.

We will give 30 days notice on all coin removals.

All coins must be removed from customers accounts before the 30 day period is over.

Once we close the wallet no more withdrawals will be possible under any circumstances.

In the case of coins without a working block chain, or with wallet problems that prevent us from sending transactions out we willl have no choice but to simply close the wallet. We will take all steps possible to make sure this does not happen but sometimes is unavoidable unfortunately.

Thanks
