Sure, there has been a ton of FUD in the last month. South Korean markets, China, credit card bans, BitCon nect, etc... But, a historical perspective, BitCoin seems to have a correction every winter.
As I have commented to some people, it seems like a natural course of things.
Of course, I also need to remind people that back on November 30th, I made this prediction in response to @dragosroua.
Sooo, you can keep upvoting people giving predictions of bull returns during a bull market that won't be seen until fall of 2018. Or you can just give them to me. :D
Either way, let's just relax and let the market do its thing.

I think you're a little high on your low value. I'm thinking 3 - 5k. I've had 3 more months to make that call though so maybe that's cheating.
I see people saying that it would drop to the cost of making one BitCoin, which is around $3,500.
Sure, it could do that.
Anybody's guess is as good as my gut call back in November. As good as my March 15th "start of turn around" prediction and my "harvest the profits in Summer and Fall" voodoo assumption.
Yeah, it's insane to think that it could go that low, but it's good to bring in new investors to the marketplace and people that feel like they missed the boat get a second chance.
Right now, it is at $6,800, so leaning towards your numbers, but it might go back up before "close" today and then keep steady. The DOW is down 1,000 points, so people are going to have to HODL somewhere.

Everyone is probably just cashing out. I'm glad I cashed out my health plan as my wife is due for our baby girl in April and figured the market wouldn't keep going up until then. I made some good returns last year so I'll just wait for the market to get healthy again before reinvesting.

I would like to go back to the November days of quick turnaround ROIs myself, so I can build my tiny portfolio. I see there is already movement to the coins due to the DOW drop today, but all it will do is keep the crypto-bleeding at check.
I'm hoping my March 15th prediction comes true. It might be painful until then.
