no need. Steem is easy to store on steemit.com. U can use savings account if u want extra security
A trillion dollar crypto...sounds pretty wild, but I'm sure one day it will happen to one lucky crypto
A hardware wallet designed especially for storing Steem tokens sounds like the perfect idea to pursue through a Kickstarter campaign. I'm sure there are enough talented developers and people with the requisite business skills out there to bring such an idea to fruition. The key to getting such a project under way is potential market size and a strong enough demand for the product as people begin seeking reliable cold storage solutions.
Ooh... that could potentially also be worked as a publicity campaign to help generate more attention towards Steem...
Yes I agree. I would like add to this idea by saying that Steemit should promote like crazy the advantages of monetization of user generated content and the ability to protect one's earnings through rock solid security schemes and storage solutions. The campaign should also be squarely aimed at users of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, non of which offer direct payment mechanisms for their users. Naturally, the action should seek to attract the best contributors from each platform and weed out, to the best extent possible, spammers and pesky trolls.
Thanks dear for share this information .
Hmmm $1 trillion market share for bitShares in 2020? Something about that sounds a little fishy to me. But I sure hope I'm wrong :) :)
thx you @rok-sivante, Great information. STEEM ON!
I know a couple of guys were working on integrating bitshares on Ledger during the hackathon at steemfest2, I don't know if they kept going but it would definitely be useful for us.
cool. glad to hear at least there's been some recent discussion and possible development. LOVE it.! :-D
It doesn't seem impossible. I'm going to throw a little cash at it for long term
For Ledger, no: https://trello.com/b/5nQ1mdzt/ledger-roadmap
For Trezor, no. I found only this: https://github.com/trezor/trezor-mcu/issues/112
