This is a choke that has come very natural to me. I discovered it first time before 1,5 years on a live sparring.Since then I have been trying to improve it and find entrys, counters and re-counters . I will try to give you some more information on what exactly I am doing.
- Using my closed guard I pull my opponent close to me
- While pulling with closed guard my left hand is pushing away his right shoulder and my right arm is fishing for an underhook on his left side while I am hip escaping to my right
- I underhook his left arm and twist my wrist like I am trying to look at my watch so that the sharp part on my wrist is cutting down his shoulder, at the same time because of my previous hip escape my left foot is able to step on his hip and control the distance.
- My left arm is still posted and stiff armed on his right shoulder and after I control the distance I start pushing his jaw away using my right palm while pushing his left shoulder down with my right knee.
- Because of my left foot on his hip , left palm on his right shoulder and my right palm on his jaw pushing him away he tries to move forward as a reaction.
- I slide my right wrist under his jaw and with my right palm I hook my left wrist as I bring my left fist lext to his neck.
- Bringing my right foot on top of his hip I clamp his hip using my feet as chopsticks to control the distance between us.
- I twist both my wrists thinking that the hard sharp part of my wrist should drive right in to your neck and my right elbow is moving like it would in a slitthroat/papercut choke.
During all this time I am controlling his left arm with my right wrist and leaning my head on it like I am talking on the mobile phone.
Please try it out and share some feedback. Help me find out why it doesn't work and why it can be stopped easily. I got a similar variation with the gi which I will be sharing soon.
Very interesting, definitely will try this out and see if it works for me. I will let you know.
