If you're not spiritual this comment might really turn you off. Abraham-Hicks teaches that when we're in a state of appreciation, that is when we are connected to our source. I have experienced this to be true in my life.

I can see that and agree with the statement. It's not that I don't believe in a source or the mystery, it's more that I don't pursue it, try to connect with it very much, think of it that often, or, and this is touching on a different area, feel any religious convictions. That's what I mean when I say that I'm not a spiritual person, or much of one as I was trying to hint at with the second half of the title (but ...). I've felt euphoric and connected many times, especially when deep in nature or when seeing my children play happily and freely.
