RE: Where Do You Find Calm?

in #blog8 years ago

I used to draw. It used to be my calm - it relaxed me.

Right now, I do not think I have an explicit calm. I do not enjoy drawing as much as I did, it just seems like a lot of work. I sometimes enjoy reading, but not enough to actually open up that book.

I watch movies, I play League of Legends (which sometimes can trigger the opposite of calm).

Generally, I feel like a calm person. I do not need to search for it, I guess. When it's worst to worst, I just go and take a walk for maybe 10 to 20 minutes. Imagine me punching trees. That should do it.

I think we all have different ways of coping with stressful times. I think walking is great and even imagining yourself punching trees is great. I can see how that could let out so frustrations.

Haha yeah! Well, I do not want to hurt anyone when I am at the top of my frustrations.

I used to do boxing, but didn't get a chance to continue that after I've moved.
