I went out alone today to get my certificate which actually still needs to be fixed. Originally, I was asked to pick up my certificate in the morning but the company owner told me this morning that he'd be available only at noon. My plan was to get my certificate from the venue given me then go to church, canvas for a monitor for papa on my way to a certain mall which I haven't been to for ages. This mall was near my first University, so I really enjoyed going there those days. However, due to the sudden change of schedule, I decided to go to church first.
It was horribly hot today. I arrived at church at around 9:30 AM. The temperature was 29 degrees Celsius but the heat index was around 32. And dude, it was just nine in the morning! T_T Anyway, I went inside the prayer room in Cebu Cathedral church and went to Santo Niño church. I believe in God, but I don't really practice my religion... I go to church to pray but I rarely do other things we have to do at church like go to mass, have a confession, have some religious celebration, etc.
Anyway, when I was leaving the church, I decided to just commute directly to the mall where I want to have my lunch because of the terrible heat. But, luck wasn't on my side because I couldn't find the right jeepney in that area. So, I decided to walk... drop by some computer shops along the way until I finally reached the mall. The church was a kilometer away from the mall. The distance doesn't really bother me, but the temperature... T_T
Finally, around past 10 AM with the temperature of 31 degrees Celsius (heat index was 34), I arrived at the mall. The cool air conditioned mall welcomed me and I felt happy. As always, when I go inside a mall, I go to a bookshop first. I don't always buy, but I just like looking at books and magazines. When I entered, I saw a lot of anime magazines! The same ones I collected years ago. I haven't bought any anime magazine for quite some time, but a certain magazine really caught my attention. Why? Because it has a back to back poster of Haikyuu!! and Yuri on Ice!!! I love both anime, so I decided to buy the magazine. Originally, it's priced at $2 but it was on sale so I only bought it for $1.25.

And here's the Haikyuu!! one. Yaaaay~!!! Karasuno <3 <3 <3 My drained energy rose up to 30%. lol~ I dislike window shopping or even shopping for clothes, bags and other girly stuff, so I decided to kill time at a cafe inside the mall. Gentleman Cafe is a Korean inspired cafe here in Cebu and they make really delicious milk tea! <3 I ordered Choco Minty Milk Tea for $1.90.
The perfect pair for a cold milk tea is an anime magazine. ^^ I spent around 30 minutes or so in the cafe. It has free wifi too, that's why I was able to share this picture earlier using steepshot. That drink brought my energy to 60%. Then, lunch time is approaching.
Since my appointment was at noon, I decided to have lunch early. There is a foodshop in this mall which I used to frequent in my University days. It's a Korean shop which offers riceburgers. It was super cheap and delicious, too!
Here's my spicy beef rice burger for only $0.95... I had it with a bottled water so I only paid $1.32 for my lunch in total. Cheap but delicious food is such pure bliss. There's even a Korean vocabulary on the mini flag. Chin-gu = Friend. :)
Mixed it with using their cute spoon x fork. Ahhh~ spicy and yummy!!! I'm back to 100% after having this. I'm so happy that I was able to eat there again. ^^ I still have roughly an hour before my appointment when my mom told me that my aunt, uncle and Godwyn are coming over.
"Oh my!!! I haven't bought a congratulation gift for Godwyn yet!" I thought... Well, the venue for my appointment is near another mall, so I decided to buy some art materials for him as a gift. ^^ (I'm so glad he loved it!) From the mall, I walked for around 5 minutes under the heat of the sun again going to the jeepney stop.

Here's another angle. I was already in the appointment venue, just waiting for the company owner to give me my certificate. Unluckily, there was an error on my name. Yeah, it happens a lot! T_T They wrote Shiela instead of Sheila... but they'll do a reprint as soon as possible, so it's okay.
Though tired, I felt happy. I was able to drink my favorite milk tea and ate rice burger! I had a happy tummy despite an exhausted body.
I'll continue the story next time about my bonding with my cousin/son Godwyn. For now, I want to read manga and sleep. It's already 1 AM here... So yeah~ Thanks for reading!
