I really don't know much about the cryptocurrency space, it's technicalities and so on. I just came into cryptocurrency in 2017 through steemit and so steem is all I know about cryptocurrency.
But what I have gathered from the cryptocurrency market through steem is that it is still a very volatile market, full of doubt and uncertainty. The cryptocurrency price can either go up sharply or come down sharply, no one knows.
Since I joined steemit in June 2017, I have seen the market price low, for a long period of time, until towards the end of the year when the market price surged and remained like that until sometime in March this year when the price started to fall.
I was thinking that the price will go back up soon, but it kept on falling and for the most part of this year the cryptocurrency market price has been on a decline.

I don't know when the bear market will end, but I remain bullish on steem and cryptocurrency in general.
I will say that steemit had made me tough minded, because with all this uncertainty, doubt and volatility in the crypto space, I still choose to remain on steemitfor the long haul, while many have left.
In fact I think that all those who are still on steemit and in the cryptocurrency space in general are tough minded people, because it only takes tough minded people to believe in an investment that is very volatile, full doubt and uncertainty.
I know it is not easy, but Don't give up, keep believing in cryptocurrency.
My story is much like yours, @yaanivapeji What I know about cryptocurrency I learned on steemit. It is a great platform with lots of great people here. I am here for the long term, haven't had much time but I am determined to invest more time and money here and learn all I can.
Interesting @sophistryproof. Good luck exploring the steem blockchain.
