Mount Tavurvur:
Mount Tavurvur is a stratovolcano located in East New Britain, in Papua New Guinea. It is a sub-ventilation of the Rabaul boiler, being the best known of its sub-ventilations, it is also because it is the most active and devastating of these.

Among its most important eruptions are the one of 1937, whose result was the death of 507 people and the one of 1994, that in a burst of the volcano, the ashes buried the city of Rabaul remarkably. Other notable eruptions were those of October 2006, which had no deaths, but damaged 12 km² and raised ashes up to 18 kilometers to the sky. His most recent activity was in August 2014.

Nice. Really informative, i wonder if people would still live in that area because of the fear of an eruption.
