Tetatro de títeres – proyecto "Retablo de las Maravillas" en correlación con Cervantes

Hola queridos Steemian. Hoy les traigo un poco de mi faceta teatral. No solo realizo fotografías y videos; también me he dedicado los últimos 15 años de mi vida al teatro. Específicamente al área del teatro de muñecos o teatro de títeres tanto como manipulador como artesano.

Debo admitir que estar en contacto con las comunidades rurales del estado Bolívar y siendo mi público preferido los niños; todo esto ha tocado mi membrana social y sentido de pertenencia hacia la cultura popular Venezolana.

Retablo de las Maravillas y su conexión de cervantes:

Pertenezco a la Fundación Teatro de Títeres Jau Jau este año cumple 50 años de su primera presentación; Jau Jau es un tipo de Casabe dulce del cual hare un trabajo más ampliado en otro post. En esta fundación soy el Secretario Ejecutivo y mi trabajo entre otras cosas ha consistido en materializar proyectos de títeres como artesano – constructor y como manipulador. En 2008 comencé a trabajar en el concepto de un espectáculo callejero titulado “Retablo de las maravillas Jau Jau” que rinde Homenaje a uno de los 8 entremeses escritos por Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra y publicados en el tomo “Ocho comedias y ocho entremeses” nunca representados, de 1615.

El Retablo de las maravillas Jau Jau:

nuestra mejor forma de conciliar ideas y religiones en Venezuela reina el sincretismo como forma de vida, como único método para explicar cómo pensamos y lo que creemos; nuestra versión sincrética no está muy lejos de ser muy parecida a la de nuestro maestro Cervantes; iré describiendo poco a poco dejando al descubierto como funciona esta innovadora obra.

Para la manufactura del carromato use distintos materiales como laminas de hierro, aluminio, ruedas, Compuesto MDF, tornillos, tuercas, pernos.

La idea básica del carromato era que se pudiera trasladar a cualquier lugar, sobre todo para ser exhibida en plaza publicas y pueblitos rurales como un espectáculo a cielo abierto con títeres y manipulados, representando en estampas populares la historia cultural de las gentes y regiones de Venezuela esta analogía que se extendió de nombre “retablo” a la “caja de títeres” la puesta en escena de un mundo portátil que contarà historias a todo aquel que mire y esté atento.

En la primera fase del proyecto se construyeron 28 marionetas las cuales se colocaron en 2 carromatos con distintas estampas; aquí viene el sincretismo de la cosa; pues las marionetas son una adaptación de los Diablos Danzantes de Venezuela y las estampas son relacionadas con una fiesta patronal y un pueblito. En el video que subí a Dtube podemos apreciar lo siguiente:

Muestra del museíto de los títeres Jau jau donde exhibimos a los niños de las principales escuela de la Ciudad de Upata Edo. Bolívar, los primeros muñecos de la fundación (algunos tienen 49 años) y parte del elenco que participa en el Retablo de las maravillas, luego podemos observar por fin el “retablo de las maravillas” me toca revelar el secreto de cómo las marionetas se mueven de manera automática. Las marionetas tienen sus hilos de Nylon donde corresponde cada movimiento y el hilo a su vez es conducido por ojetes hechos con alambres corresponde cada movimiento y el hilo a su vez es conducido por ojetes hechos con alambres hasta un motor de limpiaparabrisas el cual está conectado a un regulador de voltaje para que pueda funcionar con electricidad 110a, de esta manera puede simular que está tocando un grupo de música popular con su tradicional Arpa, Cuatro y Maracas; en la siguiente toma podemos ver a una señora confeccionando arepas de maíz pilao un sujeto degustando una arepa y un vendedor de frutas, por otro lado podemos visualizar a un borrachito que está en algún sitio de la plaza y a su lado un niño que está jugando perinola o como popularmente llamamos en Bolívar “Boliche” acto seguido podemos observar a una pareja bailando al son de la agrupación musical y otro niño jugando Boliche (probablemente este compitiendo con el otro niño) pasando al siguiente carromato podemos ver a una parejita de enamorados en el banco de una plaza, detrás de ellos un policía los corre del lugar, en otro sitio de la plaza un vendedor de helados y un niño comprando su paleta probablemente el calor del trópico lo tiene sediento, detrás del niño que come helado esta el señor que barre la plaza este silba la canción que toca el conjunto musical; Siempre en los pueblos nos encontraremos con un personaje muy peculiar “el Fisgón” persona que se dedica a escrudriñar ventanas y observar a modo de voyerista lo que pasa dentro de las casas; a su lado el pregonero del pueblo vendiendo el ultimo extra del periódico local y por último el mendigo que pide misericordiosamente su monedita.

El fondo escenográfico de cada carromato está reflejado con algunos callejones algunas colinas la iglesia del pueblo, su plaza su gente. sin estos últimos nada tendría sentido. El conjunto de todas estas personas representan a manera de fracción la mayoría de los que viven en un pueblo pequeño donde la vida es más placentera y tranquila que en las grandes metrópolis.

Me agrada mucho estar apoyando a una comunidad que lleva el nombre de Cervantes y la relación que se da con mi proyecto de marionetas. Coincidencia o la magia del destino.

La escenografía y las marionetas fueron construidas con material reciclado de la basura. Esta temática es parte del grupo de títeres Jau Jau su lema “recoger basura y transformarla en Arte”

Theater of puppets - project "Retablo de las Maravillas" in correlation with Cervantes

Hello dear Steemian. Today I bring you a bit of my theatrical side. I do not just shoot photos and videos; I have also dedicated the last 15 years of my life to the theater. Specifically to the area of puppet theater or puppet theater as both a manipulator and an artisan.

I must admit that I am in contact with the rural communities of the Bolívar state and my children are my favorite audience; all this has touched my social membrane and sense of belonging to Venezuelan popular culture.

Altarpiece of the Wonders and its connection of cervantes:

I belong to the Jau Jau Puppet Theater Foundation this year celebrates 50 years of its first presentation; Jau Jau is a type of sweet Casabe of which I will do a more extended work in another post. In this foundation I am the Executive Secretary and my work among other things has consisted in materializing puppet projects as artisan - builder and manipulator. In 2008 I started working on the concept of a street show called "Retable of the wonders Jau Jau" that pays tribute to one of the 8 hors d'oeuvres written by Miguel de Cervantes and Saavedra and published in the volume "Eight comedies and eight hors d'oeuvres" never represented, from 1615.

The Altarpiece of wonders Jau Jau:

our best way to reconcile ideas and religions in Venezuela reigns syncretism as a way of life, as the only method to explain how we think and what we believe; our syncretic version is not very far from being very similar to that of our teacher Cervantes; I will describe it little by little, revealing how this innovative work works.

The basic idea of the wagon was that it could be moved to any place, especially to be exhibited in public squares and rural villages as an open-air show with puppets and manipulated, representing in popular prints the cultural history of the people and regions of Venezuela this analogy that extended from the name "altarpiece" to the "puppet box" the staging of a portable world that will tell stories to anyone who looks and is attentive.

In the first phase of the project, 28 marionettes were built, which were placed in 2 wagons with different stamps; here comes the syncretism of the thing; because the puppets are an adaptation of the [Dancing Devils of Venezuela] (http://www.mintur.gob.ve/mintur/blog/diablos-danzantes-de-venezuela-2/) and the pictures are related to a party employer and a small town. Exhibition of the Jau jau puppet museum where we show the children of the main school of the City of Upata Edo. Bolívar, the first dolls of the foundation (some are 49 years old) and part of the cast that participates in the Altarpiece of wonders, then we can finally see the "altarpiece of wonders" I have to reveal the secret of how the puppets move automatically The puppets have their Nylon threads where each movement corresponds and the thread in turn is driven by eyelets made with wires corresponds each movement and the thread in turn is driven by eyelets made with wires to a wiper motor which is connected to a voltage regulator so that it can work with 110a electricity, in this way it can simulate that it is playing a popular music group with its traditional Arpa, Cuatro and Maracas; in the next shot we can see a lady making corn arepas pilao a subject tasting an arepa and a fruit vendor, on the other hand we can see a drunk who is somewhere in the square and next to him a child playing whirligig or as we popularly call in Bolívar "Boliche" immediately we can observe a couple dancing to the sound of the musical group and another child playing Boliche (probably this one competing with the other child) passing to the next wagon we can see a couple of lovers in the bench of a square, behind them a policeman runs them from the place, in another place of the square an ice cream vendor and a boy buying his palette probably the heat of the tropics makes him thirsty, behind the boy who eats ice cream is the gentleman who sweeps the plaza this whistle the song who plays the musical ensemble; Always in the villages we will meet a very peculiar person "the Snoop" person who is dedicated to scrutinize windows and observe as a voyeurist what happens inside the houses; at his side the town crier selling the last extra of the local newspaper and finally the beggar who mercifully asks for his little coin.

The scenographic background of each wagon is reflected with some alleys some hills the village church, its plaza its people. without the latter nothing would make sense. The group of all these people represents as a fraction the majority of those who live in a small town where life is more pleasant and quiet than in the big cities.

I am very happy to be supporting a community that bears the name of Cervantes and the relationship that occurs with my puppet project. Coincidence or the magic of destiny.

The scenography and the puppets were constructed with recycled material from the garbage. This theme is part of the group of puppets Jau Jau his motto "pick up trash and transform it into art"
