I started trading cryptocurrencies a little more than a month ago and you,ve bet it that I got really hooked that my normal routine of watching movies before I sleep went on watching my entries get called or sometimes just went into super long position. I must say that I am doing good now and learned from my mistakes which is not being patient enough.
Me, not being patient enough made me lose some money by cashing out and chasing a pumping coin. What happened there is that I bought a coin on supposed dip from a previous high which is still OK but the coin value dropped and flatlined for more than a month before breaking out again which could have covered my position with a sensible profit, but I got impatient and too a loss then made a second mistake of chasing a pumping coin with a hope that it would cover my losses, but it didn't and my entry went on another long position.
And so I learned from there, I just let it sit and hope that in a few days, it will be called and I will finally take profits which I did but with a small sum because of another mistake, which is making the position worthwhile. What happened again that I got frustrated with the coin that I wanted to get out immediately taking only a small profit. I could have adjusted the position for a more better profit because, well you guessed it right, the coin broke out after me getting my coin profits out.
So you see, I believe that many coins are worth investing into, so no matter how long it takes, your positions will get called out somewhat, we just need a little patience for it. The other thing is that to make our positions worthwhile sitting by ensuring that we get a sensible profit out of it otherwise we have just wasted our time and a needless highblood pressure.
Chasing coins is a no-no unless well, if you have gotten real quick and took a small profit. but if you would hope that the price will go on and up for your favor then beware, it will definitely not. I cashed coins like what I said above but the key there again is being patient and let the next wave call your position and learn to never chase a coin again. The good news is that all roads for many cryptocurrencies moves forward, you just have to ride it through until it satiates your goals from it.
I think I am doing OK for my trading work, I am very cautious now and jumping in only to a coin that I believe that will give me profits based on charts and candles as well as news for a particular coin which actually in my opinion has a great impact on it's success price-wise. And also, being patient for my trades which made me win profits everytime. Of course there are also many ways how to win or lose in trading, I mentioned only a couple but one thing to do is to learn and someday you will be good at it.
