Starting a Journey as a Chicken Raiser

in #chickens2 months ago

Recently, I’ve been interested raising a native chicken in my backyard. I’ve started purchased a 1 batch of pure Native Chicken which is Zampen Chicken. It was developed poultry breed originating from West Coast Zamboanga Peninsula in the Philippines.

By the help of my friend who is experienced raising a native chicken, He’s helping me a lot in choosing the right breeds of chicken which will I raised and breed and to multiply giving me some extra income. I’m planning to have this as a business in long term; In Philippines the demand of Native Chicken is very significant in the market.

I want spend my time being unemployed to improve and gain knowledge from livestock as a day passes by, hopefully I can achieve my plans for better future taking my first step as an entrepreneur.

From this I will share all my experiences being a native chicken raiser and giving new ideas what I've learned during in this journey.

Looking forward to more chicken contents. Im planning to do some backyard livestock raising too. And to be honest I don't have any knowledge for now.

I don't have any cool stories since I've lived in major American cities all my life, but it is a dream of mine one day to move to some open land in the countryside and have some egg-laying hens to provide for me and my partner. There's just nothing like some farm-fresh eggs cooked to perfection with some thick sourdough toast.

Good luck with raising chickens! I'll be excited to follow your journey!
