Sprouts need to be cooked soft to be appreciated. Bitter ones are bad ones. We ate sprouts for 2 days now, I've put the leftover sprouts in the wok together with some champignons and soy stalks, served with rice for an oriental touch, the synergy is great. Well that says my palette of taste anyway.. ;-)

Still I do not understand why people who do not like Brussel sprouts still eat them at Christmas. Certainly not a big fan of those sprouts haha.
Joy thanks for your marvellous tour of the old working class area of Brussels. Even in London for the last decade when people would never go to visit a certain area as they thought it was a rough tough neighbourhood to be in. All these top property investors are piling in the money to refurbish these areas with a more trendy look with new apartments, shops and places to eat out. I guess it is better to invest in those poorer areas instead of investing in a more richer area saving them a few pounds too. Plus they will know the way of living costs will go up too. But usually the transport remains the same terrible haha.
