He remains a tragic figure though: the sad irony being that he brought every man under his command home but ultimately left himself behind.
I'd never thought about it before, but this perfectly encapsulates The Punisher as a character: the guy who could save everybody but himself in Vietnam, only to come home and lose everyone around him except himself in New York. Well-written review, @noelthorne. :)
