An Opinion from 'The Verge' a progressive website

A guy wrote a book, Future Presence: How Virtual Reality Is Changing Human Connection, Intimacy, and the Limits of Ordinary Life about Virtual reality.
I might just have to read it.
The Verge interviewed him. I found it to be typical of them that they steered the interview typical of leftists.
All politics aside...consider the technology.
It's gonna be YUGE, and it's happening NOW.
Steemit Devs take note.
The Verge? Is it Verge coin's blog or what? Lol
There were high hopes that the film adaptation of 'Ready Player One' would get the masses to take a closer look at VR but it missed the mark. Its a book everyone should read to understand a potential future with VR.
I saw the trailer.
it's dystopian...I don't do dystopian much.
I might break down and watch it...maybe...if/when it's free.
I ponder the reality of virtual reality from time to time. It's going to come very soon. Seems so strange to me, but then I think about our inherent human nature to continue evolving and creating... I guess that's where we're going. Virtual reality and bionic beings.
My brother has a VR set and it's spooky real. I can't imagine how real it will seem as the tech advances further. @ironshield
rilly rilly real.
as in ...so real that there will be very little reason to leave home.
