I hear you and quite agree! I think even more importantly, it will allow all interfaces and services to help build the experiences (or provide the tools for users to shape those experiences) that bring people who couldn't have the one they wanted back around. Knowing that not all attrition is price, being able to re-engage people who loved Steem but weren't able to use it in ways they wanted will go a long way to building a strong foundation for the even newer people to be introduced on~
Communities/groups is the big feature we have been missing up to now. I was there when they announced some details in Lisbon and it's been a long wait. Having an open source, decentralised community system with potential for rewards ought to be a winner, but we will still need it to be marketed well. That has been lacking too. I would have been grilling Steemit people on this at Steemfest if I'd been there.
