Your down to 1 life point:
"Fuck this mystic trickery" exclaims Angle Food.
"I'll stick with old faithful..."

You gather your inner energy and produce a lightning bolt:
You barely maintain control of the powerful blast, but still clip the enemy for a large hit of 8 points. Nice try, maybe next time.
The sneaky Gobbo gets roasted as he tries to run away.
Angel Food shakes his head and wonders why he didn't just follow his heart in the first place.
In Angel Foods mind these creatures deserve no mercy. With that thought, he is reminded of the berserker behavior he had succumbed to in the boss battle of IBT4 and calms himself.
Angel Food is badly hurt again, yet seemingly unconcerned as his attention focuses on his original foe.
Actually, Gobbo did get away. This was one of the rule changes from last tournament. You only get one shot per Gobbo, and if you fail, Gobbo disappears anyway. However, that 8-pointer did find the ogre and was good enough for the kill. Your 12-pointer afterwards gibbed the corpse.
Also for future reference, after Gobbo has resolved (win or lose), you still have your choice of using your basic or risky attack against the stage foe. The risky attack is only required against a Gobbo -- my apologies for not making that more clear previously.
Stage 2 result validated. 1 life point banked (current total 3).
