Well it there is a thing called auto-tracker for amateur telescope. This one is professional scientific telescope. It MUST be able to track things - you give him coordinates and fix the stars, the telescope adjust it's rotating speed with earth rotation + motion of the star in the sky. :) and this is yet the simplest thing about the telescopes :)
