The sneaky Gobbo gets roasted as he tries to run away.
Angel Food shakes his head and wonders why he didn't just follow his heart in the first place.
In Angel Foods mind these creatures deserve no mercy. With that thought, he is reminded of the berserker behavior he had succumbed to in the boss battle of IBT4 and calms himself.
Angel Food is badly hurt again, yet seemingly unconcerned as his attention focuses on his original foe.
Actually, Gobbo did get away. This was one of the rule changes from last tournament. You only get one shot per Gobbo, and if you fail, Gobbo disappears anyway. However, that 8-pointer did find the ogre and was good enough for the kill. Your 12-pointer afterwards gibbed the corpse.
Also for future reference, after Gobbo has resolved (win or lose), you still have your choice of using your basic or risky attack against the stage foe. The risky attack is only required against a Gobbo -- my apologies for not making that more clear previously.
Stage 2 result validated. 1 life point banked (current total 3).
That’s the first Gobbo to get away. I’ll guess I’ll just stay satisfied with the gibbs... dragon treats.
I get it, he escaped so that I don’t get an opportunity to pick his pockets. I’ll give not attack gobbo with mblast next time.
Confirmed, only 3 total after the two stages. 😬
Thanks again.
You gather your inner energy and produce a lightning bolt:
What the actual flying duck? You produce a lightning bolt so powerful it turns into a dragon - the Mother of all lightning spells! - You unleash it on your enemy with full force and watch as your foe gets annihilated with a 12 point hit!!! Youre a Wizard, Harry...wait no, you said you were Tom? Gasp
The Gladiator looks like a child's toy when compared to Angel Food's dragon. Peasants regret the encounter also as the Dragon tramples some of them. Angle Food, feeling completely drained of sympathy, laughs at the collateral damage and considers feeding a Gobbo to the dragon just for fun.
It seems grace has left him.
Angel Food hates his wand and considers a smaller one for the future.
He and his new dragon friend watch the sky together for a moment that seems like an eternity. Suddenly the dragon seems interested in something unseeable and looks to Angel Food as it takes flight and makes it's departure.
Angel Food returns the smile.
"Fuck this mystic trickery" exclaims Angle Food.
"I'll stick with old faithful..."

You barely maintain control of the powerful blast, but still clip the enemy for a large hit of 8 points. Nice try, maybe next time.
