Marriage is not a game

I wonder how men handle many wives. My husband sometimes tells me that he was better unmarried. With marriage comes responsibilities. A man or an woman cannot live his /her life at his/her own will. We often have to think about the family, but what if you have more than one wife ? Doesn't the situation get tacky?

Recently a man in India strangulated his wife in a moving train when the coach was empty. It took the cops 3 days to figure out the identity of the body and find her family. On questioning her husband confessed to his crime. He said that his wife refused to divorce him after his repeated request for the same. He said, she was his third wife, but he was not happy in his marriage and had found love elsewhere. She was not permitting him to marry again, nor was letting him free from the clutches of this marriage. She was threating him that she would file a case of triple talaq on him.

During the investigation it was found that the husband had recently insured his wife heavily. Killing her would make him rich and free if went unnoticed. Sadly, luck was not in his favour and now he will have to rot behind the bars for the crime he has committed. Had this man understood the importance of marriage and stayed loyal to his wife, he would have led a happy life.
