Federal prosecutors have decided to drop the campaign finance violation charge against cryptocurrency mogul Sam Bankman-Fried, who was also facing fraud charges after the collapse of his cryptocurrency exchange, FTX. The prosecutors stated that the Bahamas, where FTX was based, had not intended to extradite Mr. Bankman-Fried on the campaign finance charge, as revealed in a court filing on Wednesday night.
