My take on cryptocurrencies current state

Over last month the cryptocurrencies have corrected almost 50-70%. For example ETH has come down from 420 - 250USD, Steem from 2.7-1.5 USD and so on.

But BTC has been pretty steady with minor correction of 20% only from 3000-2500usd. This is clear reflection that correction is just rebalancing of investment.

However, the ability of crypto systems to handle large number of transactions has been exposed recently particularly of Ethereum.

A solution need to emerge in crypto world to give real competition to VISA kind of platform.

I agree that there definitely needs to be a solution

And the scalability of Bitcoin and Ethereum type blockchains seems like a plan for failure. The size of the blockchain is silly for the average person to download. Maybe DAG solutions like IOTA or ByteBall are the way of the future for eCommerce. See:

I like IOTA concept but i still need to see its evolution and how it performs when transaction size on IOTA reaches the level of BTC or ETH. So still long way to go
