A nice collective sigh of relief!
Now that everybody can now see that the apocalypse hasn't arrived and all is fine in the world of crypto, we can all sit back and start seeing a more bullish market develop. Steem has seen a fairy large dip in the last few days but now that a lot of the uncertainty is behind us we should start to see a steady increase in the price of Steem! If you haven't been buying up Steem these last few days now is probably one of the last opportunities to get cheap Steem.
I think, conservatively, we can expect $2.50 Steem before the end of the year but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes as high as $4. Steem is getting more and more popularity and it is only a matter of time before the demand greatly outweighs the supply of Steem. Once that happens, there is only one direction the price will go and that is up. I know I will be buying a bit more Steem soon and I recommend you do the same.
There are two types of investments I currently believe in the most. The first being Masternode coins (currently working towards Syndicate Masternode, helping me get there faster with an upvote would be appreciated 👍), the second type is Crypto involved with social media, the two biggest ones being Steem and Reddcoin. Social media is the big business that big businesses look up to, so much of our lives is now firmly associated with social media and I believe that Steemit will one day be mentioned as peers to instagram and Facebook. Investing now in Steem (and Reddcoin too in my opinion) is a great investment that not only will grow in value over time but serves a purpose. If you have read my past posts you might know that I like an investment to have a function as well as just having value.
Conclusion
In the coming days as the price of altcoins increases make sure you don't forget the basics:
- Never invest with your heart, invest with your brain!
- Don't ever FOMO or FUD!
- Research EVERYTHING
- Don't buy high unless you plan to hold for a very long time!
Happy Investing!

I think STEEM has a great potential, but first it needs some changing so that people upvote based on quality instead of based on whatever they think will earn the most money... Right now Steemit seems full of people who, honestly, don't give a damn about the content and just look for the payout only. That can never be good for STEEM's long term value. It needs to be addressed, or the whole thing could implode. I think any gains STEEM has momentarily is just the same boost all altcoins have and says little about STEEM's stability or value. Even shitcoins get a boost during these times.
I agree, but most coins don't have the likes of Jerry Banfield, Trevon James, BritVR, Craig grant and other YouTubes promoting the hell out of it. Remember that one of the contributing factors to Dash's success was the likes of Jerry Banfield talking about it so much. Don't underestimate the power of popularity, most people are sheep and want to follow shepherds. When a good portion of shepherds are promoting Steem it is only a matter of time before the price rises.
I hope we do see a nice rise in price for steem. Never heard of reddcoin so I'll take a look at it :)
I'd absolutely love to see Steem get that high, that'd be GREAT!
interesting points. Not sure where things will go. Anybody recruit any organization or social networks to join on steam, other than for individual use?
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean. I will answer if you clarify :)
I.e. draw up a business plan for a tax free charity to raise money, that has social networks built into, to post to its members, and/or share on facebook, as a way to fundraise, take profits, and gain equity. a church organization, for example, that already posts to FB. thinking of writing such a proposal for my church, once I figure out all the nuances of this platform
Okay I get what you mean. There are companies and services that start Steemit accounts. I know PIVX had an "official" steemit and a few things do too, however I am yet to see any charities posting so that could be interesting. It's worth noting however that asking for money directly would probably not go down well in these parts. This is more of an "earn it" type of situation and not a "ask for it" one.
Ya I'm thinking that people at the church, would just post the content to FB like they normally do (i.e. not change ANY behaviour), while church members could merely passively vote, should they choose to do so. that way a church could earn equity and/or take profits annually, quarterly, or whatever. My guess is such an account would be under review by a committee at the church, and that only people skilled enough to trade cryptocurrencies would be allowed to handle the account, based on cryptocurrency markets. It could in the end, be used for expenses and/or donated to charities. Thinking that I'd stress that Steemit would only be used as passive income for a church, while not asking anything different from what the organization already does. On top of that, should members of the church who establish accounts on Steemit choose, balance of Steemit can be transferred to the church account. For example, my account might only be worth $25.00 annually, and I could choose to donate that to the church account, merely for doing what I already do on FB. Anybow, I've yet to draw up a business plan, with any real numbers yet, but I'd like to spend part o the next month, ironing out some details and projections.
Hopefully the prices will rise. We should feel happy because we astill are a minority.
Yes we are, and the early bird catches the worm :)
Thanks maybe i'll stop my power down
I could see steem easily hitting 20$ a coin in the next year, great platform and I don't see why anybody would stop using it
20 might be ambitious but who knows, you could be right!

a great post and the forecast is also at par with micro fundamentals...if people see BTC as 10000 by 2020, then why cant steem be seen at 5-10 level by that time..
