Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!! I agree completely. The progression actually makes a lot of sense:
- We have a few centralized exchanges that charge high fees and have slow tx times
- We have several centralized exchanges that charge competitive (moderate) fees and have moderate tx times (Robinhood actually touts no fees, which makes it a kind of step 2.5, if you will 😉)
- We have several decentralized exchanges that not only don't charge fees, but actually allow the users to earn a portion of the rewards in the network (i.e. Bitshares)
I'm really excited about Robinhood and the progress that they'll bring to the trading of crypto, but I'm even more excited about the future of Decentralized Exchanges!!
