Now that I'm getting back into my photography I'm doing something I've never really done before. I'm trying new techniques and photographing things I never would have before. While these may not be the most stunning photos in the world and they aren't even really my favorite it is fun and a good challenge to do something different. I'm currently working more on minimalism and abstract simplicity.

Trying to show more with less and seeing how much I can do with less. Overall it's been a fun challenge and really eye-opening and here's a little excerpt about minimalism in photography.

Photography minimalism is a popular trend in the world of photography, characterized by simplicity, elegance, and a focus on the essential elements of an image. Minimalist photographs often feature clean lines, a limited color palette, and a lack of clutter or extraneous detail. This style of photography can have a powerful effect on people.

One of the key benefits of minimalist photography is its ability to communicate a message or mood with minimal distraction. By removing the excess visual noise from an image, minimalist photographers are able to highlight the subject or idea that they want to convey. This can be particularly effective for capturing the essence of a moment or object, allowing viewers to see the beauty or significance of something that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Minimalist photography can also have a powerful emotional impact on viewers. By creating a sense of simplicity and clarity, these images can evoke feelings of serenity, tranquility, and even awe. This effect can be particularly pronounced when minimalist photographs feature natural subjects and inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world.

Another benefit of minimalist photography is its versatility. Because minimalist images often rely on strong composition and simple elements, they can be used in a wide range of contexts and applications.

In addition to its aesthetic and emotional benefits, minimalist photography can also have practical benefits for the photographers themselves. By focusing on simple elements and clean lines, minimalist photographers can often create striking images with minimal equipment or preparation. This can be particularly useful for photographers who are working in challenging environments or conditions, where a minimalist approach can help them to capture the essence of a moment without getting bogged down in technical details.
