I don't know nobody as barbaric to make jokes about a drunken that beats his wife or anybody, thats an obsolete topic. Of course there are crazy people around and they fit perfectly in prisons for beating up others...
But i know people from different cultures that, unlike as most Christians that do alcohol in their more important rituals since childhood, tolerate very bad booze and ruin their and others lives.
I know also a bit of history about the British opium wars and china conquest. Those same founded over 90% of the worlds banking system adding to drug trade, slavery, weapons and in our days even human organs or blood. Many of us are Steemers because of this banking cartel.

Things are not white or black. Decriminalizing the end user on one hand and applying administrative sanctions on the other, are just different solutions in some cases, in some cultures, in some countries that are not failed states.
