Boomin' Dtube and it's buffering! It froze just as you took the bite, but I did eventually see the reaction I was waiting for. Vegemite is sooo salty, which is why I prefer the English version, Marmite. You can taste the tang a bit better when it's not drowned out with salt. Having said that, in this hot country, we probably need it to have more salt.
It's a weird flavoured thing, but gets very moreish once you've had it a few times.

You need to drink plenty anyway. You sweat out the salts, so fluid alone can leave you depleted.
Marmite flavoured crisps is not the same as Marmite.

As an American expat living in Australia the key is to use a little bit of vegemite on bread, with butter. It’s at least bearable that way. I still don’t like it though 😂
