But if you can get them for those amazing $200 as starting point.... I will most likely use them till they are dead and not considering even the reselling option.

I totally agree - if you can get them for $200. It looks like the non-Samsung memory ones are going for almost $250 retail though (at Overclockers UK), which makes me pause. I feel like as soon as the non-mining variants are less scarce the mining will lose value much faster than the non-mining variants. The safe long-term bet is to get the 8GB variant with Samsung memory, but then you're talking over $350.
mmhhh I was actually thinking about that as well... why do you think the Samsung variant is such a big different? I think we should wait some test results about it...
I am conjecturing that the Samsung variant gets better Hash Rates, just like the normal 470s.
And also assuming that the 8GB variant will last longer for mining. Memory seems to be an issue when block size goes up for Eth, at least at an earlier period it was.
Agree on the 8gb but it's also true that with Casper PoS will be out so no more mining for ETH.... which will send all of us to ETC considering it is the second best return... and the difficulty is quite low... so again... maybe those extra dollars saved for the 4gb are going to be a good turning point...
