Hey great post! I am on day 2 of a 5 day water fast and its going okay so far. Ive done this before so I know what to expect. Day 2 is always the worst for me. I also find myself having a hard time focusing because I seem to have a slight binge eating disorder, but hopefully this will help break that!

I honestly was propelled into the first one after a pretty serious binge. Had a pint of B&J and washed it down with a pizza lol. Was so disgusted with myself. I started with just saying I wasn't going to eat for a day...but day 2 came online and I felt great so I decided might as well go for a bit longer. I've done a 4 day one and a 3 day one since about 6 months ago.

I think it helps a lot with binge eating because it really improves insulin sensitivity and many other elements that make it easier to avoid that insane ravenous hunger that leads to overeating.

Hoping we can foster a community for it on Steemit as more awareness and blogging is done about it.

Did you accomplish your goal?

I did! Feel really good, and im only eating chicken broth and fruit juice today. Ill start eating easy foods tomorrow. I started at 240 pounds, and im 225 right now so I am happy with that. I think I might start fasting once a week for a day.
