Thank-you so much!

So amazingly well done, Anike! Hugs

Thank-you so much, Tiny! It was made possible thanks to your post. Much appreciated! <3

What a thought-provoking story armed with lots of detail. I love short stories. Upvoted and resteemed by another fellow writer

Thank-you so much!

This is yet another reason I need to learn to write stories.
I got caught up, dinner was almost on fire lol (thankfully I saved her😂)
Good story...

Haha, oh dear! Luckily, it turned out alright. Thank-you, and yes, try out the short stories. If you'd like, you're welcome to check out @thewritersblock. Amazing people there who have really helped me hone in the skill of writing.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will check them out. And will also "stalk" you to keep up with your future stuff...
Tho i earlier did post a story, but it didn't really get much views...so i was discouraged from posting more stories.

Give it some time, engage with more people on Steemit, and you'll soon see more people interesting in your work. I didn't get much in the beginning, either, but I'm getting there. Hope to see you around more!

Thanks for the encouragement.

Great description! I felt what she was feeling! Really pulled me in!

Oh, thank-you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

for a while there, its like im the character of the story and i felt what she went through. very nice writing! :)

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it!

Wow, what a fantastic short story @anikekirsten. Your words paint such a vivid picture in my mind of what is happening here as the story unfolds. This is exceptionally well written and edited piece. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, thanks! I'm so glad the imagery came through and you enjoyed it!

Oooh. This is very emotional. Beautifully done.

Thank-you, Shawna!

Oh, my! Thanks for the info. That's pretty high up.

Well written, gave chills.

Thanks! Haha, chills is a good response. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Impressive descriptive ability. Do you want a review?

Thanks! You are free to give your thoughts, sure. Not sure what you mean by review exactly?

Well? here is one of them... https://steemit.com/review/@recenzent/the-review-of-charles-bukowski-s-short-story-swastika-from-mgaft1

The only difference that instead of Charles Bukowsi's story I will write a review for your story )))

That is quite the review and I'm honoured you would want to. I don't think I'm worthy of that so much as it would, to me at least, appear that the story will be on the blockchain twice and I'm not a supporter of duplication of content. Perhaps, one day when I'm old and hopefully considered a "great", then sure, haha.

I am glad you liked it. I will write you a nice one. I was watching many entries in the writing column and your story was the first one I felt like writing a review about. I will write it and pot the link here... All the best

I am curious about the following sentence.
Her thoughts faded, abandoning her for silence.
What was she thinking about before she experienced a convulsion?

It seems that while she was in the bath, she didn't think of much.
What you probably meant was that she lost consciousness or was about to lose it. Thus the phrase should have been

Her consciousness faded, abandoning her for silence.

No?
