Ohh baby duck! They eat it here in Cambodia too! Not sure what they call it! Had it once! As a mostly plant-based eater, this was a tough step, but it actually tasted good! I just made the mistake to open the egg and put it in a bowl. Here they also eat it to get stronger and for better sexual performance!

Its actually the same belief that we have here in the philippines, and that's what i mean when i say " are you sure of your knees?" people who always eat balut have that at the back of their minds every time, and they don't hesitate to share it with others.

I had it once. I do not eat animal products very often. But it wasn't bad, at least some parts of it, yet not my favorite food.
