Good morning fellow steempunks. Today is a very special day. It's my hubby B-day and the first day of real baking in our bakery. We did some tests earlier this week and now we are ready to take it to the next level! Which is selling to the people, not just eating everything ourself hehe!
Every 9th of the month there is a flea market and little fare here in Kep, Cambodia, and that's where we will sell our first tastes of the bakery. And give away free samples!
Let's hope for a beautiful day and great start to our new adventure. Next week we will start for real!
But let' start this exciting day with a green drink first!
AVOCADO CASHEW PAPAYA MORNING LOVE ღ ღ ღ
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 small papaya
- 1 carrot
- 1 organic lime, fruit + zest
- ½ cucumber
- ½ avocado
- 1/3 cup cashew nuts, soaked
- 2 cups coconut water
DIRECTIONS
- Soak cashews for at least 4 hours. Overnight is best to neutralize phytic acid. Phytic acid interferes with the absorption of other nutrients and can cause nutrient deficiencies.
- Blend spinach and coconut water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw everything in at once.
- Top with superfoods such as hemp hearts and goji berries if you like.
