A while back i had a tremendous Brunch at the Conrad Brussels so i prepared a little trip report of Brussels for you.
I love Brussels for their great desserts, but at the same time after the disastrous events one might not consider going there. So follow me from the safety of your home and let me guide you through the city.

So after we had that awesome brunch, we had to get some real food, so for lunch we went for the real deal and went to Antoine (we had to wait 15 Minutes)

Brussels is a lovely city. You can get all kinds of desserts and pretty amazing food. If you love chocolate, you have to go to Brussels ! Are you a waffels fanatic like i am ? Go to Brussels.
I am not considering going there anytime soon again, but maybe we can get some comments how the situation is these days in Brussels? (do we have users from Brussels?)

yeah. unfortuntealy the conrad has left the hilton group. i dont know which brand manages that great hotel now.
their brunch is really amazing

Beautiful macarons! Don't forget those famous moules (mussels)... Le Chou de Bruxelles, Le Zinneke, La Boussole and La Quincaillerie are excellent places for that! Enjoy!

Wow! I love French macaroons! I think among the hotels in Europe - those in Belgium are the ones that serve breakfast this much! Lovely!

I lived 8 month in Brussels two years ago. Thats really a place for food lovers. Everywhere the sell chocolate, waffles, original Fries (be Belgians invented them) and much more. Result for me: adding 8 kg of weight.
omg 8kg? but i can imagine why. the sweets are really really amazing
