Commonly misconceived as a situation meal, Sipping or Drinking Garri had proven itself to be the number 1 life saving meal in the entire Western African region.
Garri is an extract of Cassava and is commonly known as Cassava Flour. The cassava is ground, fried and then dried to get Garri
It is usually used as a complimentary choice in eating soups, hence the term Garri and Soup which is as a result of its high starch quantity and subsequent energy content.
But this post doesn't consider the moulded garri, but the Drinking Garri, which is basically mixing the Garri with lots of cold water.
And thats just for the Plain old Drinking Garri,
Just as coffee could be drank alone, other beverages could be added as well.
Drinking Garri could be assorted with Sugar, Milk, fruits eg. Coconut, Groundnut, Smoked fish, roosted meat and lots more.
