If you go to Paris and really want to have a fancy tea break like real Parisians do, you need to have some French Pastries. Angelina is my favorite for some delicious French pastries. There are also Angelina restaurants in other countries like United Arab Emirates, but for the real experience, there is only one and that is in Paris, not far from the Louvre.
The interior is beautiful as the macaron towers and pastries are part of the decoration. Which make waiting less annoying. Yes, you are reading well, you have to wait here to have a hot chocolate and to eat a pastry. That wait can take up to half an hour, so maybe it's handy to plan your visit.
Their specialty is their hot chocolate. Quite pricey, €8 for a hot choco and €15 for a piece of cake, but I can tell you it is worth it.
Super creamy hot chocolate. And beautiful pieces of art as only how the French can make them. Honestly, it was so pretty I almost didn't dare to eat it.
So! Go to Angelina! Not far from the Louvre and treat yoself! Have you been there before? Tell me, was it your money and the calories?
This is a wonderful, picture filled post, @thepinksuitcase! I have upvoted and resteemed it as a promotion for you as one of the people I am following! Such amazing pastries! I will be sure to go there if ever in Paris! Your spelling of "brake" should be changed to "break". Isn't the English language challenging?! Cheers!
Hi @mitneb! Thank you so much for your kind words! As a blogger, the best thing you can have is when people read your post and compliment you like this! It totally lights up my day :). Before a post is made it costs so much time, so you can imagine that a compliment like this is absolutely a motivation to keep on working on new posts :).
Thank you so much for the grammar correction! The way you did it really speaks for you. Very respectful and helpful. Hopefully, you will enjoy much more of my blog posts. Have a great evening!
Thank you very much for the complimentary feedback, @thepinksuitcase! It is always nice to hear that something I did or said was encouraging to someone. It's great to be able to support people like you who are putting out truly enjoyable content. Cheers!
It sure is! I love to share my inspirations with the world but i speak several langueges, and sometimes I confuse grammar and words. Always nice to have someone having your back :).
I totally understand your situation, @thepinksuitcase! Especially when the languages are from a similar root it is so easy to mix and match between them. I applaud you for writing in English because it is so difficult, even for those who only speak English. I am always happy to help out when it means giving someone more clarity it English. So many people are trying to learn the language by exposure rather than by formal instruction. So pointing out corrections is as much for the readers as for the writer. Actually, I think the greater impact is for the readers because there will be so many more of them for many years to come, and the writer may simply have had the mistake occur due to the auto-correct feature at the point of entry, and failed to see it. That happens to me all the time. Cheers!
You totally feel me! It is exactly how it. Also, at first I was afraid to write, because I'm a perfectionist and I don't want to make mistakes and would be ashamed because I don't want to make grammar mistakes, but then I thought, well if I don't try it I will never learn it :). Greetings from Holland!
Absolutely, @thepinksuitcase! You have to just get going, and start writing. The wonderful thing is that we are all humans, nobody is perfect and nobody expects perfection. I, too, lean towards not wanting to publish anything that isn't technically as good as it can be. The nice thing about Steemit is that you can go back, and edit your posts for a period of time. I try to review every original blog post I write the next day when I can see it with fresh eyes. Doing this I usually find some typing errors that I missed, even though I reviewed it immediately after posting. The editability, even after people have made comments and upvotes, gives me the freedom to go ahead and hit the Post button when normally I would spend days editing and rewriting before publishing. Cheers!
Oh looks very tasty. I love Paris, but at last time I was there 5 years ago:( I want back!
Really! You should go! As a food lover Paris is heaven! It's not far from Portugal ;).
OMG! I love your post so much, great content and photos, and of course, food! I really like it. Hope I can go to Paris someday too :(
Thank you so much! This really encourage me to blog more! I've been so busy with work lately, I hardly had time to blog, but I will catch up soon! Just followed you by the way :). So we can keep in touch!
