Today I will give you a practical dessert recipe that I make very often for my nephews. Our dessert is Fake Profiterole, also known as Cat Tongue Profiterole.
Of course, it does not replace the original, but at least it is a dessert that you can easily make at home and eat with pleasure. I will also indicate the points you need to pay attention to as a trick point in the recipe.
Let's take a look at the ingredients list before we get into how it's made. With these measurements, you can get at least 8 portions of the dessert you will make.
1 cup of flour
1 cup of granulated sugar
half a glass of starch
1 packet of vanilla
2 egg yolks
1 package of chocolate pudding
2 packs of whipped cream
About 2 liters of milk
1 pack of cat tongue biscuits
Quarter pack of margarine
Preparation of Dessert
First of all, we take 5 cups of milk, flour, sugar, starch and egg yolk in a saucepan and mix them thoroughly with a whisk before putting them on the stove.
Tip 1: Before adding flour to the mixture, if you fry it with a little oil on low heat until it turns pink, your dessert will not have a flour smell.
We put the mixture in the pot and mix it well, take the mixture to the stove and cook it on condition that it is constantly stirred. The mixture will thicken as it cooks. When large bubbles begin to form on it, we add a packet of vanillin to the mixture we took from the stove and continue mixing until it is mixed. Vanillin will give the mixture a pleasant aroma.
Tip 2: If we take the vanilla from the stove and mix it for a while, then add it to the mixture, the aroma it will give will be stronger. You can also add it after it cools.
Then we wrap this mixture in cling film so that it does not form a crust and put it in the refrigerator to cool well.
In a separate bowl, add 1 cup of milk to 2 packs of whipped cream and whisk well with a whisk. Then we leave it to cool in the refrigerator.
While the 2 mixtures that will form the cream of our dessert are cooling in the refrigerator, we can start preparing the chocolate sauce of Fake Profiterole.
We put 2 glasses of milk and a pack of chocolate pudding in a small saucepan, mix it well, then put it on the stove and start cooking. Ignore the phrase "Make it with 3.5 glasses of water" on the pudding package. The chocolate sauce of profiteroles is usually dense. After all, we will use the chocolate pudding for the profiteroles sauce.
We cook our chocolate sauce, stirring constantly, until air bubbles form on it. Then take it off the heat and keep stirring until it cools down so that no layer forms on it. In addition, the mixtures that will form our cream will have cooled in the refrigerator until the chocolate sauce has cooled.
When our chocolate sauce has cooled enough, it's time to take the mixins out of the fridge.
Then we add the whipped cream mixture we prepared to the mixture we prepared before and mix it well until it gets a creamy consistency. When the ingredients are mixed well, the cream of our dessert is ready.
Now we divide the cat tongue biscuits into 3 parts and add them into this cream and mix well.
Tip #3: Never add catnip biscuits until the cream has cooled sufficiently. Since the biscuits we will add to the hot cream will become doughy, their taste will deteriorate.
We take the cream to which we added the cat tongue biscuits, pour the chocolate sauce we prepared into a suitable container and spread it over the entire surface.
In fact, our dessert is considered ready. If you wish, you can sprinkle powdered hazelnuts, walnuts or peanuts on this dessert we have prepared. If there is nothing to sprinkle on it, you can crumble a piece of cat tongue biscuit and sprinkle it on it to get a beautiful image.
Fake Profiterole, which was rested in the refrigerator overnight, is now ready to be served.
