I just doubled up on the decimal coinage
I had on Bittrex. I didn't have much there , but it doubled as coins do when their chains fork.
Even if I knew that would be the case
I still like my coins to be associated with a private keys
When this is over, I will pull my private key out of a drawer. Type it into a newly created BCC wallet and get my double dose of cold storage coins.
Then there is Poloniex - NOT adding BCC
people's coins for whatever reason. I will never use them again because they stole fifteen thousand plus dollars worth of a deposit and never have steem enabled.
I have no money there. I will not click new terms. I will take time out of my busy schedule to explain my bad experiences to anyone who will listen.

I've been pretty sick for some time now. Trying to rearrange things in my surroundings. You are sure welcome to use my story. I accidentally used the wrong memo sending a deposit from htooms to Poloniex. That means that Poloniex got the money and didn't bother to look at my complaint and see that it's mine. "We'll just keep it" <--- Good business model.

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you're doing better. Ugh, they really suck. My husband ended up doing a guest post about it today on my blog. I told him about you but he decided people could put their stories in the comments. It's amazing that I still see people posting about using them.

I sensed liquidity problems when they stopped steem withdrawals, and I spent 3 hours passing steem from one account to another - did the same a different night with Ethereum.

Bittrex is cool and poloniex is shit ! So the fork finally happened.

Yeah. I have had an open ticket for over 45 days with nothing but the original automated response. It was a steem deposit for 6320. You should see it in my history. At the time it was worth 15k.
Thanks for your information. I could verify my deposits on bittrex, too. But it were only some satoshis.
Wherever your BTC is you are entitled to BCH (Bitcoin Cash) just make sure you have your private keys to your BTC then transfer out to a wallet that supports BCH....you will get your BCH entitlement in that wallet.
Maybe wait a bit though.
If only I had some money I could have spent on btc, so I could have gotten free bcc as well. My turn will still come though, invested (little as it may be) in Steem, Bitshares and EOS. Just gotta wait me another few years (at least :P) and I'll be rich muhaha ^.^

Also worth to mention that Poloniex today updated their terms so users have less legal rights. It's a big red flag to move from there!

With a lot of shit in it.

Never cross my mind that Bittrex will do that, our local exchange here in the Philippines, coins.ph, is like Poloniex no BCC.
Right now I am still waiting for 500 sbd that I transferred to them during that time period where steem was worth well over two bucks, over fifty days ago. My husband put in two tickets, heard nothing, then on the third one he was told that if he sent in another it would be considered spamming and would result in being banned from the server! While also saying that they would get back to him shortly. Since this is the only way to even communicate with them the f&*ckers have literally made it impossible to do so.
And here's the kicker regarding their new terms of use:

Edit: My man told me to tell you that the word necessity is super important. Every word he writes pertaining to 'legal' issues are legalese words with meanings that have far more weight than people conversing.

My husband is considering doing a write up about it for me to post. He has screenshots of everything. Honestly he was only waiting to get vocal in hopes that we'd get it back first. At this point though...God, when we did the transfer steem was worth something like 2.30, so even if they did by some miracle make it right, they will not be making it right.

STOPwoah, 15k... that's so messed up. Initially, everyone used to recommend polo but I'm glad I went with Bittrex. Hope you get your money back soon.
Never gave me much confidence Poloniex, from the beginning never operate with this platform, all my transactions made by Brittrex, I have never had any problem.

That is mean that polo kept for themselves all BCC in the amount of how much BTC people had in there correct!? That is nuts. Isnt that illegal? It seems to me the same like a stealing.... Actually, I have removed all my money from polo a few months ago, I could not handle any more stress from all that negative experiences that I hear people talking about them...
