Today I must drop out of the freewrite selfie contest. In addition to cleaning out our shed
and painting all the wood for the railing on our new deck
I am now diving into organizing the costumes for our next community theater production, "The Trials of Robin Hood." There are 39 actors ages 10-19, and some of them play multiple parts; I counted 79 costumes. Fortunately, I will have a crew of helpers and mostly will be doing the organizing and the delegating, but it will take a great deal of my time over the next six weeks. I will do a freewrite now and then, when I can, and will do my best to keep reading and commenting, so I won't be completely disappearing! Good luck to all who remain!!

the rains came, ashes blew, the world could feel the changes coming.
A shoe started to wiggle on the floor but the lady in her bed did not have a worry.
Mice were once a thing of the past born out of need but now in this world, she lived in mice where a thing of the past.
The past held many things dear to her but in the end, it was time to move forward so she moved to a new house with all the new-fangled things one of which was the promise of no mice coming......
Then as she was there for weeks and weeks she started to realize that living in a bubble of a house was a bit lonely...... she started to wonder how the world was going on outside her door.
Started to wonder how much she was really giving up being afraid of mice......
the clock struck one and the rains finally stopped and the lady did the unthinkable and walked right out that door into the world she now saw with new eyes
