As far as desserts go, it doesn't get any better – it has everything you want chocolate, cream and cheese. Not to mention the whisky. Not to mention it's served cold. It's the mini whisky chocolate cheesecake and it's super easy to make. No baking!

What you need:
- 400g (14oz) mascarpone cheese, preferably Italian
- 500g (17oz) whipped cream
- powdered sugar
- cocoa
- whisky
- Oreo crumbs
Make sure to have the cream refrigerated for at least one hour before whipping. The one I used already has sugar, so I only added 1tbs of cocoa and a few drops of whisky. Keep it in the fridge while you turn your attention to the mascarpone.
Start by adding 2 tbs of cocoa and 2 tbs of powdered sugar to the cheese. Mix everything and taste it. If the chocolate taste is not strong enough for your liking just add a little more cocoa and sugar. Repeat until you're happy with the result. The secret is to use dark cocoa, in terms of both taste and color. Don't worry if it's becoming a bit chunky, as adding 1 tbs of whisky and mixing a little more will make the cheese smooth again.
While both cream and cheese cool in the fridge grab 6-8 Oreo biscuits and reduce them to crumbs.
Now you're ready to put everything together.
Place a layer of crumbs on the bottom of the glass or serving bowl. You can add a few drops of whiskey if you want – just don't blame me if dessert makes you dizzy!
Add a generous layer of mascarpone on top of the crumbs. You can sprinkle a few more crumbs on top of the cheese layer then simply add the whipped cream.
As a special treat I got edible chocolate teaspoons, a great finishing touch if you want to impress your guests.
Since there's no pleasing some people and on previous occasions I've had complaints about the Oreos, I prepared one mini cheesecake without the crumbs layer. Also, as I was running out of chocolate teaspoons, I substituted the spoon with a mint-filled chocolate bar. Now it also has mint, what more can you ask for?
Kid-friendly version – if you have kids you obviously cannot eat something that looks so delicious without offering them some. The solution is easy. Have some bowls ready and prepare their treats before adding alcohol to the mix.
The above quantities are enough for 4 serving – that is four very generous servings!
Omg, now we're talking, wish you were my neighbour :-)
I do have two cups left in the fridge :)
Mmnn..what time should I arrive? LOL That looks absolutely decadent!!
Sorry, by the time you'd get here there would be none left! But you should try making some - you deserve it!

Yes, I've discovered I love mascarpone too - I was even thinking of making this dessert more often and not bother with the cream or the biscuits.... just mascarpone and lots of cocoa..
