Only in the 1950's would scientists hire an artist and have him take LSD and make self portraits. This is what he drew when he started.

Ya this guy is great. Glad the 50's scientists got someone talented to show us what the drug is like.

I find this somehow both beautiful and disturbing. Something about the twisting of perception with each passing portrait.

LSD is said to be both beautiful and strange. Perception is magical.

This is amazing, when I saw this the first time it really convinced me that I needed to try psychedelics.
