This is the long awaited homecoming! The Pneumonia infection is well under control. The G-Tube is clean and working well. It's time for a party!
There was a lot of singing and dancing going on in the hospital room right before discharge. It really did feel like a party.
Brody is Luke's big brother. Luke absolutely adores spending time with him. Nobody can get a smile out of Luke like Brody can. The two of them had to goof off with medical equipment while we were waiting for discharge.
When we got home and got settled in, Brody and Luke to clean up their chins together. It takes a special person to convince Luke to get rid of his chin hair!
You have been wonderful during this time to encourage us. Thank you for all the well wishes, prayers, cards and private messages. We certainly feel loved!
