Anti-Ayub Mass Movement
In the previous two posts, the legal aspects of the Agartala Conspiracy Case have been called. Now let's see what the impact of the political situation was.
On July 4, 1968, the meeting of executive committee of East Pakistan Awami League demanded the release of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and called for a united movement. Many people started to think Awami League as a threat to other parties' PDM-Progressive Development Movement. Awami League leaders out of jail decided to make a strong decision to not compromise on the issue of the six-point demand of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's release.
On the other hand, the general students were slowly getting organized in anti-government movements. The All-Party Students' Action Committee (APSAC) is formed in East Pakistan. The All-Party Students Movement Council was originally the student front of the League, the student union (Matia) and the student union (Menon). They continued to organize their movement on the basis of eleven phases. In this way, together with the eleven clause of the six-point students of Awami League, they were uniting all the people of East Pakistan.
Even in the face of seemingly invasive politics, the movement continued to roam in West Pakistan. In the former post of the Ayub ministerial conference on November 67, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the Pakistan Foreign Minister, formed the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) - which quickly became popular in West Pakistan. In the first week of November 1968 Lahore's highway became hot - many students died in police firing. Barrister NAP leader Wali Khan and PPP leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto were arrested. On November 29th, the entire West Pakistan-wide strike was observed.
The most important event of this period is that Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani oppose the Do not Disturb Ayub policy, opposing the government.
Holds a stern position. On December 6, 1968, he demanded the resignation of President Ayub Khan in the NAP (Bhasani) rally. The next day, on 7th December, the police took the idol in the strike called by NAP. Eventually President Ayub Khan was in East Pakistan - he remarked "the opposition seems to want more bloodshed" - The roadways became more hot in the provocative speeches of the president.
The situation of the deceased on 7th December, the situation was more hot in the absence of police forces - which made the anti-Ayub movement more vigorous - which made the anti-Ayub movement more vigorous.
