Sweetheart Abbey, Scotland.

I visted this place last Summer and thought i would share the pictures with everyone on Steemit. This was a small place in the middle of nowhere, but is one of the most beautiful places i have visited, and i have been all around the world. Here, let the images do the talking for me.

Here is what wikipiedia says about the place:

"The Abbey of Dulce Cor, better known as Sweetheart Abbey (Gd: An Abaid Ur), or New Abbey Pow, was a Cistercian monastery founded in 1275 in what is now the town of New Abbey, Dumfries and Galloway, 8 miles (13 km) south of Dumfries, near to the Nith in south-west Scotland. It was suppressed in 1624."
