Hello everyone, welcome back to our lunch. Today we had Isaan Somtam, my favorite food. I really like it. Since I moved to Italy, I haven’t had Somtam made with papaya. I usually make it with cucumber because it’s very hard to find crunchy and delicious raw papaya. Today I got one papaya, so I made an appointment with my friends to make Somtam.
And it’s not just any Somtam. Today, I made it with Tam sua and rice vermicelli. Today, it’s my creation. I really like making Somtam because I can season it to my taste. In addition to rice vermicelli, today I also had squid that I boiled and put in Somtam. I believe many of you have seen the steps to make it. Next time, if I have time, I’ll take pictures of the steps because today I went to my friend’s house, so I didn’t have much time to take pictures.
The taste I made today was spicy, sour, salty, and very spicy. It was both spicy and delicious. We ate it all. In addition to sua Somtam with rice vermicelli and squid, today I also had gelatinous tendons. This was my first time making it. My friend bought it for me to try and it was delicious. It was chewy and delicious. It went well with Somtam.
Not only that, we also had steamed crab. This will be an additional menu almost every time I go, I will always eat steamed crab because my friends bought a lot and we will steam it together to eat with Somtam or other food. There will be a variety. And this is another meal that I eat with friends. Whenever we meet, we will make local food that is easy to eat but hard to find because we do not live in Thailand. It is rare to find Thai food, so I will cook it in our own taste. Tam Sua, rice vermicelli, squid is the best today. I like it very much and hope that everyone likes my food. Thank you for following.
