Talk about a Thanksgiving Day miracle! Not only did my team pull out a win this past weekend, but I also moved out of last place for just about the first time this season! I am kind of beside myself, this truly is a miracle.
I honestly don't have much I can complain about this week, so this is going to be a quite different post than you are used to from me.
My wife even won her match up and moved up to third place in the league, so it was kind of a good weekend all around for us!
Kirk Cousins didn't have the best game of his career, but I am not going to complain about anything over 10 points. My wide receivers all came pretty close to 10 points too. I think this week is a really good example of how important it is to score at least ten points from your players.
It may not seem like a lot, but it all adds up in the long run.
My running backs were a little lackluster this week but they at least scored five points a piece, so that is kind of good.
Kittle was a bit of a disappointment. I know he has been suffering from some injuries, but I still expect a bit more from him. I see that the 49ers won and they scored a lot of points, so I am not sure what is up with Kittle.
Finally, my kicker and defense were both pretty money this week. I am really excited about how well they are doing. Like I said, not much to complain about that!
As you can see from the bench, not much would have helped my opponent. Playing a different defense wouldn't have made much difference for me, and playing Cook at tight end instead of Kittle might have been the smarter move.
Other than that, again, I can't really complain.
I apologize, this is going to be a shorter post than you are probably used to for these updates, but it was just a really great weekend for me. I hope that this carries over into next week.
It is the season of miracles after all!
It's really a result that happened.
