"Instead all of the family were meeting up at Whisby Nature Park to have a walk around the reserve, and then get some cake at the cafe afterwards. We were meant to meet at 11am, so I thought about trying to squeeze a little run in this morning before doing a longer run... but that didn't really work as I was't quite up in time, and I didn't want to rush!"

"There I realized that the contact with the sand in babies serves to stimulate their sense of touch by touching it with their hands, it helps them to be in contact with nature and create that connection with it, and in Olivia's case it also helped her to exercise trying to walk on the sand holding on to her stroller and crawling, of course it also helps them to develop many more skills if they play with the shovels, rakes and bucket but Olivia just wanted to run there hahaha and although cleaning it up after being full of sand was not an easy thing to do, it was really rewarding for us as parents to see her happy playing there."
